It is with immense sadness we come to you with news of Farmer Don's passing. Not only was he our dad, but such an integral part of the LoCA Blueberry Farm. We were planning his 90th birthday party when a few days before he was in a fatal automobile accident. Things around here won't be the same without him and probably won't get fixed, pruned, or managed as quickly. We wanted to thank you for your continued support over the years and during this difficult time in our family. We know he is not in physical pain anymore has been welcomed into eternity with open arms. We also know that if the pearly gates are out of square, he’s now busy fixing them too.

My heart breaks for you all. His smile and surefooted puttering during blueberry season will be missed. I will keep my eyes peeled for a hint of his spirit in the fields.
